Description
The key responsibilities for the role of Management Accountant will include:
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts and variance analysis
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with operational teams
- Take ownership of contract-level P&L performance and financial reporting
- Partner with non-finance stakeholders to drive commercial decision-making
- Review and challenge transactional data, ensuring accuracy and integrity
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting tools
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Progression towards a recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA/CIMA), with study support available
- A solid foundation in management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with non-finance teams
- Proactive approach with a willingness to take ownership and drive improvements
- Experience working in a medium to large business environment is advantageous
