Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts across categories and channels, using data from sales trends, promotions, and seasonality.
- Collaborate with Commercial and Marketing teams to integrate upcoming initiatives into forecasts.
- Continuously monitor forecast accuracy and improve models using insights and performance metrics.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on demand plans, stock levels, and business targets.
- Provide input into inventory and purchasing decisions, helping to manage stock availability and risk.
- Maintain planning tools and dashboards, and deliver regular reporting on forecast performance and inventory health.
Profile
The successful candidate would have:
- Demand Planning experience or similar in an FMCG or retail environment.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and proficiency in Excel and demand planning tools.
- Ability to turn data into actionable insights and communicate effectively across teams.
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Proven problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
Job Offer

- A day rate equivalent of c.£50,000.
