Description
- Process invoices and ensure timely payment to suppliers.
- Cash allocation to match the sales processed
- Assist with bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support the preparation of financial reports for management review.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, addressing discrepancies promptly.
- Help maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes.
- Respond to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities as required.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Previous experience in an Accounting & Finance role.
- A strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving processes.
