Part-Time Office Manager - Edinburgh HQ
Location: Edinburgh City Centre (Fully Office-Based)
Hours: 20-25 per week (hours spread over 5 days)
Salary: Up to £40,000 (Pro Rata)
Overview
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Office Manager to join their Edinburgh headquarters on a part-time basis. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a proven track record in staff management and operational leadership.
As Office Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the office, supporting team members, and maintaining a high standard of workplace experience. You'll lead office operations, manage facilities and suppliers, and foster a positive and productive working culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Manage and support office staff, promoting a culture of feedback and development.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and other relevant legislation.
- Coordinate facilities management, including lease arrangements and supplier relationships.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal and external office-related queries.
- Develop and implement office policies and initiatives to enhance collaboration and culture.
- Manage financial reporting related to office operations in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment and workspace setup.
- Handle confidential correspondence and logistics.
- Collaborate with leadership to align office environment with organisational values.
- Organise and support internal events and activities.
- Champion a positive workplace culture and contribute to continuous improvement.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in staff management and team leadership.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
- Experience in managing both serviced and non-serviced office environments.
- Financial awareness and ability to contribute to budgeting and reporting.
